What are the limitations of insurance?

It's important to understand that not all mental health services and assessment may be covered by your insurance plan. This could be due to the need for specialized services or providers. Choosing not to use insurance for your mental health services ensures greater confidentiality of your treatment details (with the exception of situations involving risk). Moreover, by not relying on insurance, we gain the flexibility to tailor the length and frequency of your appointments to your specific needs without the constraints of insurance approvals or the necessity for a diagnosis.

Payment

Since we are a telehealth practice we accept the following forms of payment: Health Savings Accounts, Flexible Spending Accounts, and all major credit cards.

Do you offer therapy intensives?

Therapy Intensives offer extended sessions spanning multiple hours or days, providing a concentrated therapeutic experience that condenses treatment into a shorter timeframe. This immersive approach often leads to substantial progress, thanks to the dedicated focus on addressing specific concerns over an extended period. Additionally, Therapy Intensives offer the convenience of consolidating sessions, eliminating the need to schedule weekly one-hour appointments.

What about sliding scale?

We offer therapy at a sliding scale with student trainees, while still preserving dignity and quality of care for clients. Additionally, we’ve linked various resources below that offer funding and vouchers for therapy.
