Postdoctoral & Early-Career Coaching

Personalized guidance for psychologists navigating the transition from training to the next stage of their careers

The transition from doctoral training into postdoctoral work and early professional practice can bring important decisions about career direction, professional identity, and long-term goals. I provide individualized, non-clinical coaching to help psychologists approach these transitions with greater clarity and confidence.

Drawing on my experience training psychology doctoral students, interns, and postdoctoral fellows, I can provide guidance with:

  • Postdoctoral Applications: Identifying opportunities, evaluating training fit, strengthening application materials, and preparing for interviews.

  • Job Searches: Clarifying professional goals, evaluating opportunities, preparing application materials, and interviewing effectively.

  • Career Decisions: Thinking through postdoc versus employment, specialty development, professional opportunities, and longer-term career goals.

  • Transition Out of Training: Navigating the shift from trainee to independent professional, including professional identity, expectations, and planning for the next stage of your career.

Coaching is collaborative and tailored to your individual goals, experience, and stage of professional development. The goal is to help you make thoughtful, informed decisions and move forward with greater confidence in your professional direction.
